Cloud Nine operates a 1969 Piper Aztec twin-engine aircraft, N6927Y. N6927Y can seat six passengers (or significantly more dogs, depending on size), and can travel at 190 mph, with a range of over 700 miles between fuel stops. When thunderstorms are brewing in the heat of summer and snow is blowing in the cold of winter, keeping most aircraft in their hangars, Cloud Nine is still flying. Our Aztec is equipped with on-board weather radar and de-ice equipment, giving it the ability to continue flying during conditions that keep most aircraft grounded. N6927Y consumes 22 gallons per hour of fuel on average for flights. Counting fuel, maintenance, insurance, and other expenses, the hourly operation cost of N6927Y is approximately $200, resulting in typical mission costs of $1000-$1600.

We need your donations to continue flying. Cloud Nine has a goal of flying 40 missions per year, requiring total annual donations of $50,000.
