Cloud Nine Rescue Flights

At Cloud Nine Rescue Flights we appreciate every donation that we receive, but we receive some that are especially deserving of attention. This donation caught my attention because of the unique story behind it. Read on!

Kellie from Connecticut is 10 years old, but when she heard about Cloud Nine Rescue Flights and what we do, wanted to raise money for us to help save the lives of animals. This entrepreneurial young lady braved the 15 degree weather to sell hot cocoa and brownies to help raise money for Cloud Nine, and managed to raise $85 doing so! Not many people Kellie’s age have the drive and dedication to do something like what she did. I commend her for her efforts and for making a difference in the lives of animals!

To give you an idea of what Kellie’s donation means, on a transport such as our recent one from South Carolina to New York and New Hampshire, Kellie’s efforts cover the cost of one of the puppies transported. So, she quite literally managed to save the life of a puppy. Great work, Kellie!

I’ve heard many comments from people who believe that their donation doesn’t make a difference as they can only afford to donate a small amount. I can assure you all that is not the case. Many are surprised to hear that a total of 50% of Cloud Nine’s donated money comes in the form of $100 or lower donations. Your donation does make a difference! The average cost of transporting a single animal on a trip is in the $100-150 range (depending on the specifics of the transport, of course). Your donation does save an animal!
